Every year, the next gift goes further
You've given before and wondered where it went. Here is exactly where yours goes, and how our farm makes it go further every year.
Your generosity deserves better than a transaction
You've always believed generosity should mean something. You give because you care about people, and you want to know your gift reached them.
But too many donors have learned to settle for less. They give and hear nothing back. They support organizations that feel large and distant, and they couldn't name a single person their money helped. Over time, giving starts to feel less like a partnership and more like a transaction.
We understand. The last thing you want is to give faithfully for years and never see whose life it changed. That's why we built something different.
Our roots in Kenya go back 25 years, and we walk alongside vulnerable children, widows and children with disabilities through relationships, not from a distance. Our US team is all volunteers. Our staff are people you can know by name.
But we didn't stop at direct care. We built a flywheel. Alongside our programs, Waweza runs a working farm, a chicken farm, beehives and a leather and shoe workshop. Those businesses create real income and skills for the people we serve. They put food on the table for the widows in our program. Over the next few years, the goal is for our farm to cover all overhead costs in Kenya, like staff salaries and daily operations.
So your generosity funds an engine that multiplies its own impact, year after year. Because poverty isn't just a lack of resources, but a lack of relationship. Your generosity restores both.
Each turn, more of the work pays for itself
Your gift cares for families today. It also builds the farm and businesses that feed those families, train them and lower what the work costs. So every year, the next gift reaches further.

Our farm pays more of the bills each year
What we grow, we don't have to buy. What we sell funds the next season and the work. The goal is that our farm covers all overhead costs in Kenya over the next few years.
Progress on the farm
Our laying hens have arrived. Coming next: a $25,000 to $30,000 pickup truck to move harvests.
